ACS Group: Implementation of AIDC until it can be utilized on the Cloud Platform

Jakarta, Jan 2023 – ACS Group took part in the event which was again held by Alibaba Cloud Indonesia with the theme “Tech for Innovation 2023 Alibaba Cloud Developer Summit”. This event was held on Tuesday, January 10 2023 which was held at The Ritz – Carlton Hotel, Pacific Place, Jakarta.

As in previous years, this event was held to support technological progress. Currently, Alibaba Cloud has launched an international-scale Apsara developer community known as the Apsara Developer Community. This community was formed as a link to help and support developers around the world as well as to facilitate the advancement of the digital economy.

Participants, who were mostly attended by IT developers from various companies and students from various universities, paid close attention to what was conveyed by the founder of Alibaba Cloud, Dr. Wang Jian, by highlighting that 1 Watt in this era of digitalization is the same as 10 Watt in the previous era of electrification.

ACS Group fills the session “Revolution of Traditional Business Becomes Smart Business in Indonesia” where this discussion highlights the steps and challenges of non-digital business organizations in adopting the latest technology and how cloud computing can be the solution. The panel is led by Alfiandita Fortunella (Business Development Manager – Alibaba Cloud Indonesia) and presents Ryandika Putra (Technical Sales Specialist Cloud Stream – Blue Power Technology), Johansen (Senior Manager Technical Services and Support – Global Infotech Solution), and Ken Looho (Cloud & Cyber Security Product Manager – ACS Group)

Major advances and alternatives to cloud computing provide many alternatives on the IT DevOps side to handle a more effective transition to sustainable development without hampering business processes. ACS Group brings Hytera POC to ACE Lombok

On December 10, 2022, the Association of Chief Engineers-Lombok (ACE Lombok) was held again at the Golden Palace Hotel. The event attended by ACE Lombok, Bali members, and other areas carried the theme “Menuju Engineer Lombok Yang Kompeten”.
At this event remarks were delivered by the Chairperson of FKLPIDI (Communication Forum for Regional Job Training Institutes and Industry) NTB, I Ketut Sarta, and as keynote speaker by Made Sumantra – Deputy GM Development (PT. Jakarta Setiabudi International, Tbk).
Just like the ACE event in Bali in November 2022, ACS Group together with Hytera POC Solution participated by opening a booth where the engineers present at the booth received explanations about Hytera POC technology.

The Chief Engineers Association-Bali (ACE Bali) held The Celebration of Unity and Togetherness on 25-26 November 2022 at South Beach, Discovery Shopping Mall, Jl. Kartika Plaza Kuta – Bali. The event began with a warm welcome from ACE Chairman I Gede Swastika S.T and was attended by approximately 750 members of ACE Bali and other regions. This event was held to provide various benefits for all Engineering employees and to play a role in advancing the world of Tourism as well as creating an atmosphere of family and comfort for engineers on duty, including bringing optimal performance and success to all tourism businesses.

ACS Group, together with Hytera Solution, participated in this event by opening a booth. The explanation delivered by ACS & Hytera received a good response from the ACE participants at the booth.

The ACE organization was established to increase communication and cooperation among fellow Professional Engineers to increase the ability and insight of each member in line with the demands of a growing profession and to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the environment and society.

Hytera Solusi PoC in HITA-ID 2022 event in Bandung

Hotel Information Technology Association (HITA) Indonesia held an event in September 2022, with the 7th Miracles, National Information Technology Association HITA-ID 2022 theme, offline at the Holiday Inn – Pasteur, Bandung. Attended by more than 150 participants, this event consisted of Hotel IT Practitioners throughout Indonesia from West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Riau, North Sumatra, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Bali, Lombok, and other areas in Indonesia. The event began with a welcoming speech by the Chairman of HITA-ID, Andy Aries. He said that through an annual conference, HITA-ID is a means of sharing incessantly moving technological insights and collaboration between HITA-ID members and partners. This event also opens an opportunity to share technical information that can be applied in each hotel to assist IT operations in their respective hotels.

Together with Dadan Dahroni, HITA-ID Advisor, Ririen Wiyanto, Holiday Inn Bandung Pasteur General Manager, said they were proud to host this HITA-ID event to commemorate the 7th anniversary of HITA-ID. New Features of AMTS Asset Management Solution

ACS Group introduces two new features from AMTS (Asset Management Tracking System) on #StageUp webinar: RFID Modules and Database (db) Staging. Adding from the current application that can add, edit, dispose, commence stock take, create a parent-child connection, etc; AMTS Enterprise Edition v.6.1 may be deployed On-Premise or On-Cloud
In db staging module, AMTS supplied APIs that can be used as the “middle ground” to upload File Master(s) of Location, Asset Class, Cost Center, Vendor, User, and Asset. This will save considerable time Asset Management / General Affairs division in fitting pre-formatted template from your ERP to AMTS-fit template.

After processes done by AMTS, APIs are also available to update the existing Master File in the backend server with transaction information such as Movement, Lend Extension, Opname, Disposal, and Transfer between branches. What we need to point out though is that because both of this activity involves backend system that we have no control of, sending data from existing ERP to db staging has to be done by the customer, as well of sending data from db staging to ERP.

RFID modules can be used for two transactions: Movement and Opname.

1. Movement Transaction

The most essential must-do in moving an asset utilizing RFID technology is that the tag has to be placed at a readable position, and it has to go through a “gate” with RFID Antenna (that is connected to a RFID Reader, then to the corporate network, and eventually to where the AMTS database is in the server). Then all we have to do is to pass the gate (display monitor can be added to ensure movement is recorded) and the asset would automatically recorded as moving to another zone/area

2. Opname Transaction

Using an additional hardware of RFID mobile, we can conduct fast stock taking. Instead of searching and scanning each asset one by one, with RFID we can just swipe the room while holding a trigger and any tagged asset will be read.
We would still recommend having barcode / QR Code label set up on top of the RFID tag as best practice, to avoid hindrance of process if a RFID tag is somehow not readable.
RFID tag that is not readable needed to be replaced, while a tag itself can be overwritten thus used again for other purposes/asset if currently is idle. More on RFID Technology: https://youtu.be/kKDv3-fpBaQ
